What to expect in a session?
Based on the latest contributions from Positive Psychology research, focus will be on developing well-being and resilience. Further topics will include:
- developing healthy self-esteem;
- learning about true grit, adaptation and resilience;
- developing self-confidence;
- decreasing inner criticism;
- learning about strengths;
- discovering character traits;
- developing empathy and gratitude.
As a former teacher, I am a passionate advocate for student well-being and the effectiveness of well-being programmes in different educational contexts. Since life will always be challenging at times, one cannot underestimate the importance of learning to feel potentially competent to deal with complex and unpredictable problems.
One of my aspirations is to share an alternative and hopeful future with you and to teach you how to develop resilience in the face of adversity. It seems increasingly vital that exposure to such knowledge be available, especially when hopelessness and distress can too often lead to mental health problems. By offering therapy in positive psychology, I hope that this knowledge will fill a necessary gap in many people’s lives.
